Traffic alerts is playing a success of Google Maps, the mapping app which was created by Google engineers for an estimated price $ 2.1 billion a couple of years ago. And this feature is finally coming to Google Maps as well. Even though traffic alerts is being use to generate beeping sounds to alerts its’ users, the data can be collected from other users of the app as well as traffic services to ensure all information is correct and rectified.
Google Maps has got an iOS update which now allows it to provide drivers with spoken traffic updates. This is quite a big jump and will certainly let drivers know a lot in advance what is happening up ahead and will allow them to choose alternate routes just before they get into what may be large congestions or traffic accidents.
Users will also receive spoken summaries of upcoming traffic that could be anything along with delay estimates. Google is going to provide detailed reports of the route which will allow you to even change your route without even entering your vehicle.
